The Brief

The goal was to create a comprehensive brand and operational framework for The Soul Branded Residences in Paje and Fumba, enabling the Owner and Management Company to deliver world-class hospitality experiences, optimise rental returns, and build a scalable, locally relevant brand that appeals to both lifestyle buyers and investors.

The Work

InnSight developed a detailed Brand Blueprint and Operations Plan, including a refined rental scheme model, minimum brand and furnishing standards, guest experience strategies, legal and regulatory frameworks, and technology integrations. The team analysed global branded residence trends, adapted learnings for the Zanzibar market, and incorporated local nuances to establish credibility, comfort, and premium positioning. The work was extended to include a detailed blueprint for other branded residences’ in Fumba Town.

The Outcome

The Soul now has a clearly defined branded residence identity with strong operational foundations, a professionally managed rental scheme, compelling guest experiences, and a solid launch strategy. This positions it as a desirable lifestyle and investment product with premium pricing justification and the potential for expansion into other African destinations.
